Working as a contractor yields great results for your resume since you will be working all different diverse jobs. In addition, Hire Edge Logistics Personnel offers a plethora of jobs with flexible schedules. A lot of these assignments present the opportunity of working with high profile companies that do not have full time postings or openings. Hire Edge Logistics Personnel’s clients do not post their openings: they rely on us to fill their needs for staffing. What’s even better is that you have the flexibility of pricing and choosing the assignments that work best for you.

Our employees are provided with a broad range of benefits. Some of them include: Holiday pay, 401K, Health Insurance, direct deposit, and referral bonuses.

When meeting with a recruiter, we highly suggest bringing a resume with your collective work history on it. We submit your resume to prospective employers, which increases opportunities for hire. If you don’t have a resume, or need help creating or revising yours, you can use our resume samples as a resource. Simply go to the Jobseeker Resource Center on our website.

In addition to your resume, you should bring your CDL license, 2 forms of identification, a DOT medical card, and any endorsements you might have.

While there are many ways to apply, we suggest sending your resume directly through our website.

You can also contact the HELP office to schedule an appointment with the recruiter. In the event that you’ve already spoken to one of our recruiters, contact them directly with your resume in order to have it updated within our system.

Next, a recruiter who specializes within your skill set adds your resume to our database in order to connect you to the most relevant positions. In the event that there are no applicable jobs, a recruiter will contact you when a job becomes available. In addition, a recruiter will check in on you to check your progress periodically.

No.

Temp-to-hire is known as “try before you hire”. This period allows candidates and clients a grace period to ensure effective employment matches. Once the temp period is over, the candidate and client can choose to engage in contracted work. Direct hire entails an interview process in which you decide whether the client is offering you a position that you would want. If you do accept, you become a full-time employee.

Our clients offer competitive salaries and rates for candidates depending on experience. Your representative will work with you to ensure that your rate is acceptable.

Most of the time, clients pay hourly. However, there are variations between client companies. Additional pay options include component pay and mileage. The pay structure will be determined before the assignment is available for placement.
